Crystal clear waters, golden sands, tamarisks that provide precious shade, scenic little taverns by the sea, fragrant basil trees and colourful flower shrubs, traditional wooden boats piece together the canvas of one of the most picturesque seaside towns on Sifnos, Herronissos.
Herronissos settlement lies at the northernmost edge of Sifnos and is ideal for carefree family holidays, away from everyday stress.
Herronissos features mini markets, traditional pottery shops, taverns with fresh fish and home-made cuisine right by the sea. There is a bus connection, with frequent routes in the summertime.
Beach is sandy and sea deepens gradually, a perfect destination for families with small children and endless playing in the sea.
Klados Studios are located at Herronissos, 14 km from the island’s capital (Apollonia) and another 14 km from the port (Kamares) via the by-pass. From Kamares port just stay on the road to Agia Marina.
You can reach Herronissos by bus from Kamares, via Apollonia, or rent a car or a scooter.
In the summertime, Sifnos connects daily to Piraeus and many other islands of the Cyclades (Paros, Milos, Kimolos, Folegandros, Santorini etc.) via speed and conventional ferryboats. Travel from Piraeus to Sifnos takes three hours approximately by speedboat and five hours approximately by conventional ferry.
